Modern social apps are cluttered with notifications, small text, and hidden gestures. For the target demographic of MyWisdom (ages 65+), these standard patterns were barriers to entry.
The goal was to create a safe space for sharing life advice, but it had to be intuitive enough for someone using a smartphone for the first time.
We engineered a custom React Native application focused on "One Action Per Screen." We stripped away complex navigation in favor of large, clearly labeled buttons.
We implemented a high-contrast design system that adheres to WCAG AAA standards, ensuring readability for users with visual impairments.
Strict color contrast ratios and dynamic type sizing support by default.
Integrated voice-to-text features to reduce the need for typing on small keyboards.
